More support for busy family life: introducing private chef services at Arthur’s House
For busy working families, the end of the working day often marks the start of another long to-do list. There are children to collect, homework to help with, dinner to prepare and tomorrow’s plans to organise alongside the laundry, shopping and everyday jobs that keep a home running.
At Arthur’s House, we understand that finding the right childcare is one part of making family life work. Families also need practical support around the home, giving them more time to spend together and a little less to think about.
That is why we have been expanding our offering to include chefs, cooking services, housekeeping and household management. We want to help families find support that fits the way they live, whether that means regular help throughout the week or an extra pair of hands when life gets particularly busy.
Taking the pressure off mealtimes
Feeding a family involves much more than cooking dinner. Choosing meals, planning ahead and keeping the fridge stocked all take time and thought.
A private chef can ease that workload. For some families, this might mean regular meal preparation and weekly menu planning. For others, a fridge and freezer stocked with homemade favourites is enough to make the week feel more manageable.
It can also mean being able to enjoy hosting a lunch or dinner party, knowing someone else is taking care of the food.
Meet Imogen
We are delighted to introduce Imogen, the private chef behind @imogens_tables, whose services are now available through Arthur’s House.
Professionally trained at Le Cordon Bleu Madrid, Imogen has five years’ experience cooking for private clients in London and abroad. Her formal training specialises in Spanish cuisine, and she also enjoys creating dishes inspired by a wide range of Mediterranean and European cooking.
Her approach centres on fresh, seasonal and nutritious food that feels special while remaining relaxed and enjoyable. She takes time to understand each family’s tastes, routines and lifestyle, creating menus that work for the people around the table.
Imogen’s services include:
Family meal preparation and weekly menu planning
Relaxed brunches and lunches
Dinner parties, canapé events and special occasions
Fridge and freezer filling with homemade meals, sides and snacks
For families who prefer to have food prepared away from their home, her fridge and freezer filling service offers a practical way to keep delicious meals ready for the week ahead.
Support that works around your family
Every household needs something different. One family may want help preparing meals; another may need a housekeeper to stay on top of everyday tasks or someone to help coordinate the running of the home.
Our approach to household support follows the same principle as our childcare service: understanding what a family needs and helping them find the right person.
By broadening the support available through Arthur’s House, we hope to make everyday family life easier — with fewer jobs competing for your attention and more space to enjoy time together.
To find out more about Imogen’s cooking services or discuss childcare and household support, please get in touch with the Arthur’s House team. We would love to hear what would make a difference for your family.
