Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, warm, and developmentally appropriate care for both children

• Plan and lead engaging daily activities, including crafts, art, outdoor play, and age-appropriate learning

• Support nursery learning and any home learning tasks through play-based activities

• Encourage good routines and boundaries, including support around mealtimes and eating manners

• Keep the children’s areas tidy and organised and maintain a calm, structured day

• Communicate clearly and proactively with parents on routines, milestones, and daily updates

• Building upon English language skills for the two-year-old, who is already ready communicating well for his age.

Arthur’s House is supporting a warm, professional family in SW London to appoint an exceptional live-out nanny to care primarily for their 2-year-old daughter, with a new baby due in September. Mum will be on maternity leave initially when the new baby arrives. Mum will be on maternity leave so will be primary carer for the baby for the first year.

The family are both busy professionals and are looking for a nanny who is reliable, honest, and an excellent communicator, and who will take real ownership of the role, bringing creative, play-based learning and thoughtful structure to their child’s day.
