About the Role
A warm, professional family is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their 20-month-old daughter. This is a shared care position working alongside the mother during the transition period. The family have not had a nanny before and are looking for someone patient and supportive to help gradually return the mother to work.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nurturing, attentive care for a 20-month-old girl
Create engaging, stimulating environments that encourage learning through play
Plan age-appropriate activities supporting early development, language, and social skills
Support daily routines including naps and mealtimes
Assist with introduction of new foods and healthy eating habits
Work collaboratively with parents during transition, gradually taking on more independent care
Maintain a safe, organised, child-focused environment
Handle nursery duties (laundry, tidying play areas, meal preparation)
Essential Requirements
5 years of childcare experience
Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification
Kind, patient, and warm approach
Confident working alongside parents in shared care arrangement
Excellent communication and reliability
Fluent English to support language development
Driving licence not required
Desirable Qualities
Early years or Montessori training
Experience supporting transitions (weaning, routines, nursery preparation)

Our client, based in the Queen's Park/Willesden conservation area (NW2), is seeking an energetic, creative, and reliable nanny for their two children (9-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy).
Position Details:
Hours: 32 hours per week, flexible schedule (Monday-Friday)
Rate: £20 - 22 gph (DOE)

Responsibilities:
Assisting with homework for the eldest child
Organising creative and nature-based activities during the week (no TV during weekdays or iPads)
Occasionally helping out with the family dog
Being available on call during the agreed hours as hours can change week to week due to the parents’ schedules
Occasional help with school pick-ups and drop-offs
Preparing healthy snacks and light meals for the children when needed
Coordinating and supervising playdates with friends and classmates
Encouraging educational development through engaging learning activities
Supporting the children's participation in after-school activities and clubs
Maintaining communication with parents about the children's daily activities and development
Organising the children's spaces and keeping their belongings in order
